Jason
Jason Charles Rosenberg yoga journey began in 1996 at the original Yoga Zone in NYC, where his passion for mindful movement took root. He honed his skills with a comprehensive two-year, 500-hour certification from Be Yoga/YogaWorks Downtown, and has since shared his expertise across numerous studios throughout the city.
A dedicated student of master ISHTA (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda) yoga teacher Alan Finger, as well as esteemed instructors like Lois Nesbitt, Rachel Zinman, and Jean Koerner, Jason stays true to his ISHTA roots, emphasizing the importance of personal practice and tailored instruction. His classes are known for their alignment-based focus, designed to prevent injuries while addressing common challenges such as shoulder, knee, back, and hip issues. Jason is committed to adapting each session to meet the unique needs of his students, whether they are just beginning their journey or are more advanced practitioners.
When not on the mat, Jason embraces his other passion as an audio producer, radio professional, and DJ. He runs the jasoncharles.net Podcast Network, part of Uptownradio.net, which boasts four channels and a diverse array of original podcast series. Additionally, he hosts a monthly music show for the UK-based jazz and soul station Blue In Green Radio, and holds a monthly residency at Hi-Note Radio/Bar in the East Village.
A proud uptown Manhattan resident for over ten years, Jason is thrilled to be a part of the Method Collective family, where he continues to inspire others through his dual passions of yoga and music.
