Patricia
Patricia Ruiz, originally from Manhattan, Kansas, a former professional dancer, moved to NYC in 1989. Patricia is the founder of Moving Strength. She opened the first Moving Strength studio in 2005 with only herself and one other trainer which has grown into an extremely successful business with locations throughout the NY area offering a variety of group and private classes and trainings. She is a certified Pilates teacher as well as Personal Trainer through ACE, and holds certifications in Powerplate, YogaResist-a-Ball, TRX Suspension Training , Healthy Moms® Perinatal Training and most recently Franklin Method (fascia trainer for Hip, Leg and Foot.) Patricia has a unique teaching style- classically trained yet blends knowledge of PT, as well as contemporary movement corrective exercises to best meet her client's needs.
